Overview: The Red Lodge Music Festival is a camp for kids looking to gain musical knowledge and experience by taking lessons from some of the brightest musicians. Students will also meet new friends, play games, attend instructor performances and talent shows, and enjoy the beauty of Red Lodge, MT.
When: The Red Lodge Music Festival occurs in mid-June for approximately a week.
Where: The Red Lodge High School and Civic Center serve as venues for this camp. Campers stay in two of Red Lodge’s hotels.
Fee: Tuition is $499 for participants staying “on-campus” and $370 for those staying “off-campus” (fees are discounted for early-bird registries). All concerts and recitals are free.
Details: The Red Lodge Music Festival is for students who’ve just finished 7th through 12th grades. Upon arrival, students audition for their chair in one of the various music groups, including orchestra, chamber, wind and jazz ensembles.
