Red Lodge Music Festival
The Red Lodge Music Festival welcomes students entering eighth grade and higher to join in on nine days of music camp and performances. The festival takes place at the local high school and Red Lodge Civic Auditorium for a little over a week in mid June. There will be many opportunities to explore and enjoy the surrounding Beartooth Mountains, just outside of Yellowstone National Park. Nighttime entertainment like dances, games, and performances from music teachers are great fun too.
Students will audition into music groups like chamber, wind or jazz ensembles, and orchestra. Many students return year after year, taking with them more knowledge and experience. The teachers and instructors are one of the greatest assets to the music festival, with backgrounds in university and symphony orchestras. Come enjoy and learn wonderful music in the mountains at the Red Lodge Music Festival.
