Red Lodge Bluegrass Festival

The Red Lodge Bluegrass Festival has been cancelled and will no longer occur.

If you came to the Red Lodge Bluegrass Festival in Red Lodge, Montana you would have experienced two days of some of the most down-to-earth mountain and country music around at the Red Lodge Bluegrass Festival. The Red Lodge Bluegrass Festival took place within the Red Lodge Rodeo Grounds during the last weekend in August. All proceeds went toward the Red Lodge Fire and EMS Departments, as well as the Red Lodge Boys and Girls Club. There was an area for camping as well as many vendors selling goodies, drinks, and sundries. Alcohol was available for purchase only; no coolers were allowed through gates.

The festival was alive for only a couple years but invited popular bluegrass bands like Open Road, the Greasy Beans, Jim and Jennie and the Pinetops, the Packway Handle Band, and the Two High String Band. Many local bands performed as well. The festival began at the Rodeo Grounds on Friday night at 6pm and on to Saturday from 10am to 10pm. Tickets were available at many locations in Red Lodge, Montana as well as at the entrance gate.
