Event Details:
Red Lodge welcomes all fiddlers and fans to the Montana Fiddle Contest. Come and participate in the contest, or just enjoy the entertainment. Some of the finest musicians in the region will be on hand to compete. You need not be a resident of Montana to compete.

Overview: Keeping the fiddle spirit alive—yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Each July, fiddlers of all ages gather from all over to compete against the best of the best in the Old Time Fiddlers Contest and Camp.
When: This event typically occurs in late July, with two days of fiddling action.
Where: Contest goers compete and camp at the Red Lodge Middle School, located on the south end of Broadway Avenue.
Fee: The entry fee varies from $5-15 depending on residency and age of contestant.
Details: Competitors, listeners, and judges alike would agree that the Old Time Fiddle Contest is a unique opportunity to hear some of the finest fiddlers. Keep in mind this is fierce competition; some participants have placed in the National Fiddle Contest.
Out-of-stater and non-members are welcome participate in this competition. Register 60 days prior to the competition.
