Rock Creek
Nestled in the Sapphire Mountain range of the Montana Rocky Mountains lies beautiful Rock Creek. About 3 hours from Glacier National Park to the north, and Yellowstone National Park to the south, Rock Creek is near Red Lodge, a quaint and historic Montana town.
A typical stay at Rock Creek includes: a visit to the pristine Bittercreek Wilderness, 60,000 roadless but accessible acres; tours of Native American sites: Assiniboine tepee rings and a visit to the Red Bottom Pow Wow during the month of June; viewing dinosaur artifacts at area museums; horseback riding; and, backpacking and hiking through Rock Creek Canyon.
But really, it's all about fishing when you're in Rock Creek. A tributary to the Clark Fork River on the famous Lewis and Clark Trail, Rock Creek is a fisherman's paradise! It boasts a bounty of wild rainbow, cut throat, brown, brook and bull trout.
