Museum of the Beartooths - Columbus, MT
The Museum of the Beartooths in Columbus, Montana, reflects Stillwater County's history as far back as the 1870s. The museum's main building was newly constructed as a museum in 1991. Exhibits include: historic washing machines, the Albert Johnson vintage home furniture, artifacts relating to the second Crow Agency, 1875-1882, and 1895 Line Drug Company pharmaceutics. The military section features a tribute to native Donald J. Ruhl, one of Montana's seven Congressional Medal of Honor recipients, after his sacrificial death on Iwo Jima. more info
